Leaders Summer Day Camp 2026

Each summer, Leaders Basketball Program offers, "Summer Splash Basketball Day Damp" which lasts 6 weeks, starting first week of July until mid-August.

The focus for this day camp will be learning, training and practicing basketball however, a portion of the day will be dedicated to playing other sports and participating in an array of activities. During the activity, multiple coaches are present to provide the needed attention for the day campers to learn.

LOCATION

Daily day camp sessions are held at École secondaire Caroline-Dawson (1511 rue Lapierre, H8N 2P5, building entrance from rue Lapierre parking lot)

SCHEDULE

Camp sessions take place Monday through Fridays from 9:00am to 4:00pm. Schedule subject to change.

  • Week 1: June 29 to July 3
  • Week 2: July 6 to 10
  • Week 3: July 13 to 17
  • Week 4: July 20 to 24
  • Week 5: July 27 to 31
  • Week 6: August 3 to 7

Service de garde is available (7:30am to 9:00am and 4:00 to 5:30pm). Registration is available separately via Amilia.

There is no overnight accommodation.

GROUPS

Day Campers for each session will be divided into four age groups:

  • Group 1: Future Leaders - Pre-Novice (born 2019-2020)
  • Group 2: Future Leaders - Novice (born 2017-2018)
  • Group 3: Junior Leaders - Mini (born 2015-2016)
  • Group 4: Junior Leaders - Bantam (born 2013-2014)
  • Group 5: Teen Leaders - Cadet (born 2011-2012)

Note, camp couselors/coaches will be available daily for questions or information

    CODE OF CONDUCT

    Youth are expected:

    • To behave in a respectful manner towards coaches, volunteers, and peers,
    • To respect all property which include the building, the materials etc,
    • To bring reversible jersey to each session and green Leaders t-shirt for each external activity/outing,
    • To Have Fun!!

    Parents of the youth members shall:

    • Be respectful towards staff, volunteers, and others,
    • Bring their child on time (arrival time before 9:00am) and pick up their child on time (departure time by 4:00pm),
    • Notify the Leaders staff when their child will be absent,
    • Notify the Leaders staff when/if their child is permitted to commute home without a parent/guardian, and/or will not be picked up at the end of the day,
    • Pay registration fees, as outlined below, and sign the applicable waivers/forms.

    REGISTRATION AND FEES

    Players must be registered online through Amilia/SportRec.

    Weekly registration fee is:

    • $185.00 for non-residents of Lasalle.
    • $160.00 for existing Leaders Members who are also residents of Lasalle.
      • Note, this $25.00 discount will automatically be applied at checkout
      • Note, a multi-member $25.00 discount per child is automatically applied at checkout when registering two (2) or more children on a single transaction.

    Registration fees include:

    • One (1) Leaders Basketball reversible jersey for the 6-week session (mandatory, to be worn each day for indoor gym activities). Additional quantities of this item can be purchased at registration or in-person for $25.00 each.
    • One (1) Leaders Basketball Program t-shirt for the 6-week session (mandatory, to be worn for external outings/activities). Additional quantities of this item can be purchased at registration or in-person for $20.00 each.
    • Supervision, coaching and player skill development.

    Registration fees shall not include:

    • Extra fees/costs associated with external acitivities/day outings,
    • Transport costs for external activities/day outings,
    • Costs for service de garde ($15.00 per day / $60.00 per week). Registration is available separately via Amilia.

    Annual Membership Fee:

    Note, Annual membership is required to participate. Fee is $15.00 and is valid until August 31, 2026.

    Payment Method:

    Online (Credit Card) – leadersbasketball.com (through Amilia/Sport Rec). Please note:

    • Registration will not be completed until the fee has been paid in full.
    • All payments are final and no refunds are permitted.

    All fees to be paid in full at registration to reserve your spot.
