Presented to a graduating members* of our community at the end of the year award ceremony the Leaders basketball organization encourages its members to pursue their academic goals.

Student Athlete Award:

The student athlete of the year award recipients will receive $200.00 CAD.

Recipient of this award:

• demonstrates discipline both on and off the court. Being a Leader for their team as well as an exceptional student in the classroom;
• displays their commitment to improving their basketball skills by regularly attending practices and games;
• demonstrates the ability to effectively manage the demands of being an athlete and an exceptional student.

Academic Requirements:

• Overall average of >75%

Post Secondary Bursary Award

Recipients of this award will be receiving $250.00 CAD to go towards their post-secondary education.

Recipient of this award:

• have been accepted into a college of their choice and will be pursuing post-secondary studies in the fall;
• demonstrate the capacity to successfully balance the academic demands of being a high school student while remaining committed and working hard to honing their basketballs skills.

Academic Requirements

• Accepted into post-secondary institution (can be CEGEP or Vocational training)

Leaders x Caisse Desjardins de Lasalle Scholarship

Recipients of this award will be receiving $1000.00 CAD to go towards their post-secondary education.

Recipient of this award:

• is in high academic standing;
• performs with grit, tenacity, and passion when on the court;
• are disciplined, respectful and exemplify what it means to be a leader.

Academic Requirements:

• Overall average of >85%
