INFORMATION - LOTP
Each year, Leaders Basketball Program hosts our annual youth basketball tournament, "Leader of the Pack", featuring teams from the Greater Montreal region.
This is a group stage bracket type of tournament format consisting of round-robin matches between teams in a group. The top teams from each group advance to the knockout stage, where they compete in a single-elimination tournament to determine the overall winner.
This 3rd edition of tournament will take place from October 30th to November 3rd, 2024 in 8 gyms, mainly located in the Lasalle borough, and features 84 club and high school teams from the Greater Montreal and Ottawa regions spread out across 10 divisions and 5 age groups playing in a total of 136 games.
A Leaders representative will be at each venue to ensure the smooth running of the matches. We thank you for respecting the rules and keeping in mind that this is a tournament for youth. Inappropriate behavior and/or abuse to minor officials, volunteers, staff or referees may result in exclusion and/or expulsion from the tournament.

You can also download the free app "Tournify" on your phone (above link). Search for "Leader" in the app to follow your team’s schedule and add multiple teams to your favorites if needed. On the website and app, you will find links to the gyms, as well as general information, rules & regulations and the complete tournament schedule. To view the standings, click on "Standings", choose the category, select a team, then click on "Standings" again. You will then see a small eye icon; click on it. To view the playoff matches, click on "Standings", then on the category, and then on the "Final" column.

Entrance Fee (only Nov 1 to 3)*
- 6 years old and under, players, 2 coaches per team: Free
- 7-17 years old: $5.00/day or $12.00/weekend
- 18 years old and over: $7.00/day or $15.00/weekend

Canteen (only Nov 1 to 3)*
A canteen will be available at select locations serving:
- Warm and/or cold food (chips, cookies, muffins, patties, sandwiches, etc),
- Drinks (Gatorade, bottles of water, coffee),
- Leaders apparel (hoodies, t-shirts, socks, snap back hats, etc)
